Just a short entry (probably) for the sake of writing something down. I'm sorta wondering why I haven't seen new entries from some ppls on here (coughs: Jessicah & Cassie: coughs). Damn...think I have something in my throat.

Anywhoop...Tom and I are trying out a new mmorpg together. It doesn't look like it's nearly as good as wow...but it's free. ^_^ I'm waiting for it to finish installing...should be soon. (waits patiently)

I work 4 nights this week, the first 3 starting tonight, then we (Tom works all the same days I do) have new years eve off (Yes!!) and work again on Thursday night. I'm also back working on plano as of this week so I'm pretty psyched about that.

So how was everyone's Christmas? Mine was pretty good. I loved all the gifts I got. ^_^ Well, I'm out for now. PEACE!

Happy Christmas Eve!

Well, Tom and I will be waking up in...oh about 6 to 6 1/2 hours and heading to Grandma's house shortly thereafter for Christmas Eve dinner. We usually go to Aunt Jennifer's (Grandma's sister) but she was having trouble really getting herself going at home so it's at Grandma's this year.

It's really weird. Today is Christmas Eve and yet for the past several days I've noticed that for some reason I'm not really feeling the season this year. I mean...I know that tomorrow is Christmas...but it doesn't 'feel' like it should be. Almost like it's just the cold time of year, but not the Christmas time of year, if that makes any sense.

I'm also finding that I'm missing my family more a lot lately. I dunno, maybe that's why I don't feel so into the season. It's possible. So I just want my family to know (and I assume Jess can relate to everyone ^_^) that I love you all so very much and even though I don't get to see (or sometimes talk to) you very often I think about you every day and knowing that you are all there and love me totally keeps me going day to day. (Damn, that was sappy...but it's how I feel so I guess that's okay.)

I know I need to be getting to bed, but I'm waiting for Tom. Grrr...hopefully he'll be ready soon cuz I'm tired and I really should get up a little earlier than planned to take a shower since I slept in last night and couldn't get one in before I had to go to work. If we didn't have plans I might just say screw it. I guess if I'm tired enough I might do that anyway...but I shouldn't *blushes*

Okay so incase I don't get on again until after Christmas...MERRY CHRISTMAS! You are all in my heart! <3

Well, I'm finally just about through with my last (5th) night off work. Damn. Well, if I actually did more with my time than sit on my ass at the computer I might not mind only working a couple days a week (also assuming I could AFFORD to only work a couple days a week), but I don't do much else so the time gets to be rather boring. That's one reason I'm excited to go to Utah soon cuz I know I'll actually be doing stuff! Hey it might not be more than a trip to Walmart or Costco or even watching a show with Jess while she babysits someones rugrat(s), but it'll be something different than my norm! ^_^ So it's 6am now and I start work at 11:45 tonight. When I checked the schedule again Monday night it had shown that I picked up one extra day so I should be working 3 days instead of 2. That's not as bad. It still leaves me with 4 nights off, but really having 4 days off doesn't stretch as far as 5 does. I am rather upset with myself though. I should have used this time off to really get down n dirty with cleaning my trailer. In my (little and pathetic) defense though we DID do a lot of spring cleaning out in the yard over this week and I think it looks a lot better! Now we just need to get the inside going, get our old trailer fixed up and get that damn thing sold! I swear the manager has been so patient with us by not complaining that the old trailer is still on park property (just not in a space...it's out in a field).

I found another bite sized piece of heaven for you ladies to try. It's Hershey's kisses: Mint truffle. Mmm...Yes...I love mint. ^_^ Once again. Buy it, try it, love it! And if you can't love it, send it my way in a pretty package for Christmas!

I need to remember to have Tom re check his schedule for this week. They had put him working Christmas eve into Christmas morning even though he had said he couldn't work that night (they let us choose which of the two nights we wanted to work if we were scheduled)...so he talked to the O/N manager and he said apparently there were some ppl who got put on the wrong night and that he would fix it. ((sigh)) I hope that got taken care of cuz Tom's NOT going in on Christmas eve and it will just be easier on my stress level if he doesn't have to call out.

Okay, I'm really going now. Seriously, you can't stop me...I've nothing more to talk about... So... Goodbye... *turns around* ... *peeks back over shoulder* Dudes! It's over! Leave a response! ...YOU'RE FREAKIN' ME OUT! *runs away screaming*

New love <3

Yeah, there's a new love in my life. *heart flutters* ...It's the Ande's mints (peppermint crunch). I kinda think it's a holiday thing and oh my gosh. Yummy. I think everyone I know should go out and get themselves a box (or bag as I have) and eat them. It's a small piece of minty heaven, I tell you! And should you not agree with my analysis after trying one no biggie. Just put those small pieces of minty heaven into a box with shipping and send them my way so I can appreciate them the way they deserve!!! ^_^
I work tonight...which is my second night for the week and also my LAST night for the week. Yep...5 nights off this week (and next actually). ((sigh)) I think plano is supposed to get back to actually doing PLANOS about the first week in January though so hopefully hours should pick up then. Maybe I can use my very long weekend to get a jump start on some real spring cleaning. That or...play wow...one of the two I'm sure.
Well, I guess I'm off as I've not much to talk about right now....I'm gonna go eat a couple more of those mints before I get ready for work. ((Humdy dumdy dum...))

A little bit a' what???

So, I was sitting here pondering the universe and decided 'what the hell...let me put my thoughts into typed words on the site that everyone probably thinks I've forgotten about?' Okay okay...WoW is down for maintainance and I was bored so here I am! I'm downloading a game to play with Ro-chan, but it's taking a while. ((sigh))
Well, work has been pretty slow lately becuz of stupid economy stuff goin' on. I only work 4 nights this week and Tom only works 3. I know...YIKES! I guess for the situation we live in we'll actually be okay, but we're going to have to cut back on stuff since right now it's basically more like only one of us has a job, but we'll get through it somehow. The only thing that sucks is that I was hoping to be able to save up a little money for our Utah trip, but who knows how that's going to go...also I had hopped to be able to go for about 2 weeks, but now if Tom says we can't afford to take that much time off I really can't argue since hours are already so slow. I guess we'll see how things go though, and if I only get a week with my family I'll just have to make it one damn good week!
So, did anyone go shopping on Black Friday? I did my usual and hid at home where it was safe. Seriously, 2 men shot each other dead in a toys are us cuz their lady friends were fighting over a stupid toy! Yeah...DEAD! Funny thing is, both the men who pulled the guns were shot dead, and no one else in the store was hurt! I tell you people are freakin' insane on Black Friday! Not even worth it if you ask me...I mean, yeah, those are the best sale days (1 or 2 days after thanksgiving), but there are still really good sales all over (that are almost just as good) all throughout the entire holiday season! A little extra % off isn't worth the health hazzard in my opinion.
Tom and I helped Grandma put up her Christmas tree yesterday. We still need to finish decorating it though, but it's looking good so far. I can't wait till Christmas. ^_^ Well, I'm going to go find something to do while I wait for me thing to finish downloading. Peace out all.
