Woohoo!

Well, the schedule for the actual week I'll be in Utah isn't up yet, but the week before that is and both Friday and Saturday night are listed as 'time off' for me which means I actually know now that my request was in fact approved and going to Utah won't be any sort of problem. (I knew I'd get it, but the extra reassurance is always nice.)
I work 3 more nights this week before I have a 2 day weekend. We worked Sunday night finishing up electronics and then last night we set up mini seasonal with summer stuff. I think the next real big change there will be when we set up back to school, and then after that Seasonal will be set for Halloween with Mini taking the roll of storing the candy...and then both set for Christmas. Damn, that's weird to think about.
I work 4 days next week so I'll actually have one night off work even before I leave for Utah. Tom had said that if he'd only been scheduled 4 nights as well that he'd take me to Baker a day early (providing that someone from Utah's way could make the drive that day) unfortunately he's scheduled Thursday night...one day isn't going to kill me though. I'm just excited as hell that I get to see my family again. Call me crazy but I can't seem to get sick of being with them. Especially my sisters...I didn't notice as much when I lived in Utah, but it really does amaze me at how (when I think about it) Jessicah and Michelle are 2 of the very dearest people in the world to me. I really do mean that. I don't know where I'd be without my sisters...^_^
Well, now that I'm pored my sappy little heart out I guess I should go get ready for bed. Tom is going to go pick up food at KFC when we get up cuz we haven't had it in forever and I'm SOOOO excited! CHICKEN IS GOOD! Bwahahahaha!
Oh yeah! On World of Warcraft (this info mostly for Jess since I know she plays) I got my epic flying mount before work last night! I got the nether-ray as I'd planned and I love it! So fast! Heehee! Okay, I'm really going now. Have a wonderful day to who ever may read this!

-sigh- I just had the past 4 nights of work and I almost feel like I'm gonna go crazy. Weird huh? Ah well, I work 5 nights this week, altho the 5th night is the stores 'inventory' night so it won't be a regular night. Basically that night I'm only going to be there to assist those doing inventory when necessary. Finding upc(s) when needed and of course going along after and making the shelves look somewhat presentable (cuz lets face it...those inventory folks don't exactly tidy up after themselves).
As far as next week goes, I'm not sure what my schedule will be. I'm rather hoping that I'll manage to get 5 days again...but I'm kind of thinking that it's more likey to be 4 at most with plano's work plan for the month. I'm sure that if it weren't for inventory on Thursday night that we'd only have 4 days this week. I'll have to make sure to check upstairs tonight to see if next weeks schedule is in fact up.
The following week of course I shouldn't be on the schedule at all as that's the week I asked off in order to go visit the family in Utah. =) I'm thinking there's absolutely NO reason for that to not work out right so I'm not even going to let myself worry about it.

As for right now..I'm just being lazy at the computer until it's time to get ready for work. I hate going into work after having such long weekends, but if we are working on what I think we are this week (the first 4 nights) then the week shouldn't be too bad. At the very least it's not a very hard area of the store to set. The biggest thing will be stocking it all when its said and done, and likely the overnight manager will have a lot of flow team members help with that part. As they usually do with these kinds of sets.

I guess today is as good a day as any to post and update just a little bit. Well, not too much is going on. Tom and I missed work on Thursday night due to the fact that his wallet suddenly came up missing and while searching for it we managed to lose track of time and weren't able to go in to work. (They aren't allowed to let anyone in after 12:30 and by the time we knew where his wallet was it would've gotten us there around 10 minutes late of that.) Turned out that Tom had finally remembered that he'd taken it out at his Grandparents house earlier that day to take care of an old credit debt and we'd completely forgotten about it. So, we had a 3 day weekend, but I think we are going to fill out paper work for sick leave to make up the hours we missed. Also this week I'm only scheduled 3 days. Tonight and the next 2 nights, followed by a long 4 day weekend. I imagine I'll probably have quite a few weeks like this from now till at least around June as hours in May are always very slow for my department. So, money is going to be very tight the next little while, but I think we'll manage...we just can't spoil ourselves in some ways we normally do...Don't fret or anything though Jess...I AM still coming to Utah. Tom knows that sometimes I really do need to be there and be with you guys. Like I said...we'll just have to be more careful about other stuff (like eating out and such).
I have no idea yet what Plano is going to be working on this week, and while I'm a bit upset at the sudden cut of hours so soon, I am looking forward to having some time off. I figure maybe I'll play some on WoW on a character that's not bound to Tom...maybe horde side...but I haven't decided for sure yet.
Anyway....it's now 9:11am and I think we are going to be actually getting up in about 6 hours, so I guess I'll end this and head to bed. Goodnight...or....goodday I guess to all you day dwellers....XD

Ugh.....

I'm getting frustrated. I supposed to be going to Utah in a couple weeks and for whatever reason I haven't been able to get any time away at work to fill out my time off request form. My team lead said that any week in May would be okay, but I don't know now if it's actually too late to request that off and actually be scheduled as off. Grrr..so now I'm not sure what to do....if I ask for the first week off and don't get it, then I'm basically just screwed for the rest of the month. Damn it! I so just wanna cry right now. =(

I dunno...maybe I'll just end up asking for the second week or something. I know you don't wanna wait that long, Jess, but I think it'll be worse if I can't come at all. -shrugs- I dunno....

Just a quick post before I head to bed...hopefully pretty soon here. Tom and I both work the next 5 nights so I'm hoping that between work and other stuff that I still have time to do at least short blogs. If not I guess I'll get to it when I can and hopefully I don't get too out of the habit again. Guess Jess would get me back into it again eventually. ^_^
Well, Tom just got home from picking up our laundry so I think I'm going to get ready for bed. My eyes are tired and my contacts want to be out. Have a great day! Goodnight!

Cost-co = Pizza and a hot dog baby!

It's kinda weird. Tom and I end up sleeping in way later than our alarm goes off normally (by a couple hours usually at least). Today we were in bed for I kid you not....5 hours maybe...a package comes for (not even us but) Dawn next door. And the next thing we know we're wide awake. -sigh- Oh well...at least we don't work again tonight so we can be up and dead to the world here instead of on the job. ^_^ So, I guess we are going to be going to Cost-co soon cuz we have to do a bit of shopping and it's time to renew the membership. And of course Cost-co means (of course what else) LUNCH! ^_^

Oh yeah, Dawn bought Tom and me new ipod shuffles yesterday at work. They're the little bitty ones that you can clip on. Can we all say 'adorable'? ^_^ I think it's cute! Okay well, I'm going to go so I don't start blabbing like in my last message. I'm hoping to actually update here somewhat regularly to give an update on life, but knowing me...who knows. Alls we can do is hope for the best.

COOKIE MONSTER!!!

Yeah...I have no idea what to even write about or where to begin since it's only been about a million years since I last wrote. Well, a month at least. Hmmm...so any way...sorry I haven't been around. I really did have every intention of logging on the moment I got home from the cruise and telling about it in great detail. Guess I just kinda forgot. (My bad!) Now, however, I'm not really in the mood to write about the cruise...especially since anyone who might read this probably already read about the cruise on Jessicah's blog. Oh well!
The biggest reason I'm here right now is because I haven't been in forever and Jess sent me a message demanding that I post...on another site I hardly ever visit anymore. As it is my whole social life is work, world of warcraft, Tom, and the occasional phone call to/from my Mom and/or Jess. Oh well...at least I still talk to my favorite ppl! ^_^
So, I'm just hanging out at home right now cuz Tom's at work and I'm off tonight. Rorie came over to hang out, but atm we're just kinda doing our own things on the comp (she's on the lappy).
OOOH! I just watched (well a while ago) the youtube videos that Jack posted of him doing stuff like DDRmax dancing, guitar hero jammin, and uber rubiks cube solving! Damn does my little brother have some serious talent! It almost makes me want to get a digital camcorder....but I have no idea what I'd record since I can't do anything cool like Jack does. -sigh- Oh well!
Oh yeah...I'm planning on going to Utah sometime next month...not exactly sure when but hopefully I'll talk to Mom or Jess soon to find out the when school gets out there. I'd actually like to go BEFORE it gets out cuz I'm not sure how long Jack will have afterwards before he gets sent out to where ever it is he's getting sent out to. (sings: "He's in the army now! He's not behind the plow! Get out of the ditch, you son of a bi...uhhh.....HE'S IN THE ARMY NOW!!!!!") Yeah, my brother does it all it seems. XD
