Happy Christmas Eve everyone! Well, I just wanted to drop in real fast before Tom and I go to bed. We get to sleep for about 4 - 4 1/2 hours and then get up and go to Tom's grandparents' house. Fun fun. Really I'm not all that excited as all grandma is doing for dinner is picking up subway. Turkey on white with mayo lettuce (and of course cheese). Now that's what I call a Christmas eve feast! LoL!
If I don't write tomorrow, have a WONDERFUL Christmas!!! (Naturally, Jess I'm sure I'll talk to you guys on the phone! ^_^)

Well, I think Tom and I are about as ready for Christmas as we are going to be. I believe we're going to pick up a couple things at Target right when we get off in the morning, but that's it.
Well, I really should be getting ready for bed since we work tonight and it's already going on 3:30. Holy crap tart...I have to be getting up in just over 6 hours! Yikes! I hope everyone has a great Christmas eve and Christmas day with the family. Love you all!

And not just because I happen to be wearing a big red blinking nose. I think I may have caught my sister, Jessicah's cold. Yeah...dont' ask me how THAT happened cuz I honestly couldn't say....
Hmmm...I had planned on trying to do some catching up in this entry since I haven't written in a while, but Tom just called and I have to get ready to go pick him up from work. (I went in and got sent home cuz my teamlead doesn't want me to get her sick.) So, I don't know what to do if I'm still feeling sick tonight cuz I know Tom isn't going to want me to call in, but at the same time I think my tl gets irritated when I come in sick. I very much stuck between a rock and a hard spot. -sigh- Guess I'll blow that bridge up when I get to it. I'd best finish getting ready to go. Have a good day.

Well, the trailer is here and (obviously) I'm back up and going as far as the net is concerned. ^_^ Just a real short entry today though. I need to make Tom hook up the propane tanks so that we can turn on the water heater so we can both take quick showers before bed. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

This just in: WE'RE GETTING IT TOMORROW!!!

Okay, so Tom's grandpa called a little bit ago and tells us that the guy who's bringing the trailer over for us wants to do it tomorrow. Hold the phone and cancel my meeting with the legislature please, we have a shit load of things to do today!
So just in case for some reason we don't have a phone or the net for a few days (which I'm hoping won't happen) this is why and I'll give you guys on update on tomorrow as soon as I possibly can. Damn, my stomach is doing back-flips. Good back-flips mind you...well excited and hoping everything goes smoothly tomorrow kinda back-flips. LoL!
Well, I'd best get back to work. We still have quite a bit that needs to be done (mind you we thought we were aiming for getting the new trailer on Monday...not tomorrow).

Well, it looks like we are a go for having the trailer brought and basically we just need to get the guy who's towing it a days notice...so we are hoping to have everything ready within a week...hopefully shorter. We were given permission to put the old trailer somewhere else in the park's property (not in a space obviouslY) until we figure out what to do with it. So soon Tom and I will be in our new home...at the same address. LoL! I'm so excited and so relieved that this is finally happening for us! This is actually a trailer that I'll be proud to show my family when they come in March for our cruise. ^_^ Seriously, Jess. It's great! I can't wait to show you!!!
Well, it's off to bed for me now. I have to wake up in just under 7 hours for work. Bleh. Curse Tom for having tonight off. Then tomorrow night we're both off and Wednesday night Tom works and I'm off again. There's much to do in these next few days....that's for sure. Much to do.

New trailer...just not sure when...or what [still] to do with the old one....

Sorry it's been a while since I wrote. Well we went and saw the trailer and we both LOVED it! The lady selling it seemed to really like us to and from what we hear they are going to sell it to us. I guess we're just waiting for her husband to be able to check to make sure everything works and whatnot, and he's been (I guess) stuck doing jury duty stuff (yeah, someone who called actually had to go in....go figure).
Then there's still the mystery of what the hell we are going to do with the other trailer cause I honestly have no idea. I'm not even sure where a junkyard (or place like that is) to see what they'd maybe pay for it.
Well, we are hoping to be able to finally get a hold of our park manager today since it's the weekend to ask him if we can park the trailer somewhere until we can sell it....hmm...maybe he'd know someone who'd be willing to buy it cheap. Yeah, at this point I'd be willing to let it go for almost anything cause I don't think it's gonna sell easily.
Well, I'm off to go take a shower. We are at Tom's grandparents' house since the knob on our water heater broke (another downer since we have to somehow sell the trailer). Fun stuff. Fun stuff.

Possible new trailer....well, not "new" new...but new for us...maybe

So, we are leaving in....oh I'd say 15-20 minutes to look at a trailer someone is selling in Glendora. It's 30ft long (as opposed to our current 19 footer) and it's $7,500. So, I'm hoping we'll like it cuz I want to get a bigger trailer and I don't want to have to keep searching. The only thing I wish was different was that it wasn't such an old model. (It's an 87 Skyline). But I do know that newer models are more expensive so I'm going to try to keep an open mind. ^_^ Now the only other problem is finding something to do with our current trailer if we DO get this one. I don't think we're going to have an easy time selling it and I have no clue where we could keep it in the mean-time. -sigh- Guess we'll figure that out along the way.
One more night of work and then 2 nights off....damn, it's been a long week. -sigh yet again-

Lots of Overtime. NICE!

Well, it's going on 8am and Tom still hasn't called to let me know he's off work, meaning that he already has at least an hour of overtime today. I think there was one day this week that he didn't work any overtime and it was a different manager that day. So at this rate the next payday should be pretty nice, I'm thinkin. ^_^
I hope he calls soon though. I get so bored here by myself. =(
N E way...I'm gonna go try to find something to do. Not sure what...something though...

I love how in my last post I was complaining about gaining weight and my responders decided to focus on the fact that I said I don't get a lot of sex. LoL! Damn, I really love you guys. ^_^

Well, I have the next 2 nights off work, which feels weird since I've only worked 2 nights this week. As always I know I should spend my time off getting stuff done around the trailer, but knowing me (and I do fairly well) I probably won't. I just need to stop being so damn lazy (maybe if I had done that a long time ago I wouldn't have gained about 20 pounds), get off my arse and do something about this place.

This will be fairly short cuz Tom and I need to be heading to bed since we both work tonight. Bleh. I have tomorrow night and the next night off though. That'll be weird...work only 2 nights and then have 2 nights off. Oh well.
Tom and I got KFC today and it was nummy! In fact...I do believe I'll have a piece of chicken before bed.
Speaking of food...OMFG!!!!! We went to Tom's grandparents after work this morning to do a load of laundry and take showers (our water heater isn't working right) and made the mistake on stepping on the scale there after who knows how long. Needless to say..not at ALL pleased about the number that popped up. Not one bit. Not giving out all the details, but lets just say I haven't seen it that high since sometime during my pregnancy....later in my pregnancy. Looks like it's time for me to start being more careful about what I eat and start gettin' more exercise! (And no...I'm not pregnant....that would require being sexually active....um...yeah...)
K, I'm gonna go take out my contacts, braid my hair, eat my "get me fat" chicken and go to bed. Night!

Long night at work...and a bit of rambling.

I had to work last night and it was sooooo very long and tiring. We had to completely re-stock all of the toys department from the first day of the big 2 day sale. Tom had the night off, but he works tonight and I don't. I should really try to get some stuff done around the trailer, but knowing me I probably won't. Oh, we are supposed to be looking around for a bigger trailer for not too bad a price cuz Tom's Grandparents want to get us that for Christmas. We haven't had much luck so far though, sadly...
So, We got a new computer that just got here yesterday. Tom's on it as we speak...installing stuff and whatnot.
Oh yeah...I had a turkey sandwich today...although Rorie offered to make it and totally jipped me on the turkey...then she made one for Tom that had more than mine...not much...but more..then she made one for herself that was completely loaded. -_- So, I may make myself another, I'm not sure...I think we only have enough bread for one more sandwich (Tom's grandma gave us some bread cuz we never buy any...we don't eat it enough) so I'll have to discuss with Tom how we want to split that last one. -sigh-
I'm really not sure what I should be writing about...I just feel like writing. I want to spend time with Tom, but he's still working with the new comp and we should be getting to bed soon. Oh well.
K, I'm gonna get going. Not sure what I'm going to do...maybe I'll try my luck at searching for a trailer again....

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Well, that blessed day has finally arrived. Tom and I don't work tonight (which is good since I doubt we're going to get much sleep), the turkey is in the oven (well, has been for I dunno how long) and it's just a matter of waiting for the yummy to start! I really love Thanks Giving so much! So much great food and turkey sandwiches are absolutely one of the BEST leftovers I can think of!

Sweet!

I just realized last night that most of my Wednesday night shift is going to be on Thursday...which means HOLIDAY PAY BABY!!! So, hopefully that'll look nice on the paycheck. Woot! I am kinda bummed still that my days off have been split this week. I guess I shouldn't complain though since I get Friday and Saturday off every week (cept this one. Heehee) without question.

Revised work schedules next week.

Both mine and Tom's work schedules are somewhat changed next week. Since Thanks Giving is in a week and the store is closed they aren't having any over night people come in that night...which is good cuz it means Tom and I can up for dinner (which we are having at his grandparents' house) and not then have to worry about going into work. Since we have Thursday night off though I know work Friday night and Tom works Saturday night. Fun fun. *rolls eyes*
Anyway...I'm excited about Thanks Giving. It's gotta be one of my favorite holidays. ^_^

A little Bit of Monica

I created an account on here because I know my sister posts here and I think it'll be cool....well...cuz she says it is. =) I don't know how often I'll actually write, or what about in particular. I'll just write when the mood strikes me and I'll write about whatever I'm thinking about at the time. Fair warning, I can sometimes get really hyper and have it show. I can also be fairly quiet (so to speak). You can tell when that's the case. Those entries usually consist of about "Eh, not really sure what to talk about"...and that's it.
As for right now all I really have to say is that My job blows monkey chunks. Yup! Monkey chunks! I seriously need to buy a lottery ticket. LoL!
